Terms

Last updated: August 2026

These terms describe how buying a device works at LaptopZone. They are meant to be readable, not to trap you.

A quote is an estimate until we inspect it

Any number we give you by phone, text, or on this website is an estimate based on what you tell us. The firm offer is set after we inspect the actual device in the store. Prices also move over time, so a number from last week may differ today.

We inspect before we pay

We check the device with you standing there — power and boot, screen and touch, battery health, carrier lock and IMEI, and the frame. Nothing happens out of sight. If what we find matches the details you gave, the offer stands; if it differs, we'll explain why and give you a revised number to accept or decline.

Payment is cash on completion

When you accept the final offer, you're paid in cash before you leave. Nothing is owed by either side until the sale is completed at the counter — you're free to walk away at any point before that.

You confirm the device is yours to sell

By selling to us you confirm the device is yours and that you have the right to sell it, with any accounts (such as Find My or your Google account) signed out.

We can decline any device

We may decline to buy any device at our discretion — for example if ownership isn't clear, an account is still locked, or the device isn't something we can resell. Declining a device is not a judgment about you; it just means we're not the right buyer for that item.
